Coyote Self-Healing Target Only

$75.00

Reusable self-healing coyote shooting target made from 3/4-inch recycled vulcanized rubber. At approximately 42 × 18 inches, the coyote-shaped silhouette provides a large, realistic target profile for shooting practice while offering a reusable alternative to disposable paper or cardboard targets.

When used with appropriate FMJ ammunition, the rubber material allows projectiles to pass through while the opening closes back around the shot path, helping the target withstand repeated use. The target can also be repainted between shooting sessions to make new impacts easier to see.

Tested by Utah Backyard Ballistics with:

  • .22 LR
  • 9mm
  • 5.56/.223
  • .300 Blackout
  • 6.5 Creedmoor
  • Archery arrows and crossbow bolts

For firearm use, FMJ ammunition is recommended. Hollow-point and other expanding or more destructive projectile designs can cause significantly more damage to the rubber and may shorten target life. Actual target life will vary depending on ammunition, impact location, shooting distance, and repeated hits to the same area.
